Ken Caryl Ranch is located in the southwestern part of the Denver metro area. It is located at C-470 and Ken Caryl Avenue (the first major exit west of Kipling on C-470). Ken Caryl Ranch is only minutes away from the mountains, ski areas, and Chatfield Lake. I have viewed several homes in Ken Caryl Ranch with structural damage. Some of the symptoms include cracked basement floors, un-level floors above grade, and doors that will not close. In the homes there may be an engineers report stating that repairs have been made and everything is fine. Some of the repairs I have seen involve a huge piece of structural steel being attached to a wall in the basement. Some speculate the cause may be bentonite underground beneath the general area of Ken Caryl Ranch.
